General Information
Accomodation at the VYC Retreat Centre consists of 15 spacious, comfortable and clean rooms built over three levels, all with balconies.
The Centre offers two categories of rooms:

All rooms can accomodate either singles or couples, but the Centre is not appropriate for children under the age of 10. The six rooms facing the rear of the building are furnished with twin single beds (although these can be pushed together to make a double bed). All the other rooms – the Ganga View and the Deluxe Rooms – are furnished with a standard double bed.
The Centre has a Strictly No Smoking policy anywhere on the site. Rishikesh is a strictly vegetarian town, and no meat, eggs or fish are allowed to be cooked in the Centre. It is also an offence to carry or consume alcohol or drugs in the town.
WiFi is available in public areas.
We also cater for group accomodation . If you are interested in bringing a group to the VYC for more information click here .
General Facilities
The Centre has two yoga halls, as well as a “yagya” area which is available for conducting Havan (fire ceremonies and rituals). The Centre runs daily morning yoga classes and evening kirtan sessions, both of which are available at the daily drop in rates. When the senior teacher is available there is usually an evening Satsang (a spiritual discourse) after the kirtan. In this forum, guests can ask questions on yoga or Vedic philosophies and spiritual life. If Satsang is important to you, check the Calendar of Events to determine when he will be available, as he travels extensively for many months of the year.
“ Life is the ultimate teacher – use every one of your life experiences as an opportunity to grow, and to practice your connection to the divinity inside of you. ”
Our tour group stayed at the Vedic Yoga Centre and tried out the brand new rooms that are beautiful as well as the stunning rooms upstairs with views over the town. What a helpful amazing family-run guest house, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Yoga and Kirtan and also exceptional Ayurvedic massages were very relaxing after a busy tour through North India.

I come to India every year and always stay at the Vedic Yoga Centre guesthouse – it feels like home. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. Shailendra, Rajendra, and their family are exceptionally kind and caring, and make you feel at home. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food if you want a break from the buzz of Laxman Jhula...there are two yoga halls and yoga classes...I am so grateful for Vedic Yoga Guesthouse and would recommend it with all of my heart.
